Dear MCS Families,
We want to inform you that all Murray County School District schools are currently under a soft perimeter lockdown. This lockdown is a precautionary measure requested by local law enforcement due to an ongoing event in the vicinity of our schools.
During this perimeter lockdown, students will not be permitted outside the school buildings. However, please be assured that all school activities are proceeding as usual within the buildings, and the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
We want to emphasize that all students and staff are safe within the school buildings. Dismissal times will remain unchanged, and we anticipate a smooth and orderly dismissal process.
We understand that situations like these can cause concern. Still, please rest assured that we are working closely with law enforcement to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our school community.

We want to take this opportunity to update our Bagley families on a situation that occurred this morning. Our campus was put in a soft lockdown this morning around 10am due to an unknown vehicle that entered our bus parking area. Law enforcement was alerted immediately of the unauthorized vehicle. Law enforcement has responded, and remains on campus. All students and staff are safe. The safety of students and staff is our first priority, and Bagley staff followed all safety policies and procedures.
MCS will be on distance learning Friday, March 15, 2024. Students should complete work from home on their chromebook. Teachers will be available to answer questions via email or google classroom that day.
MCS will be on a 2 hour delay for Tuesday, Jan. 9th due to the threat of inclement weather. Doors open at 9:00am. Classes begin at 9:30am. Buses will run 2 hours later than normal pick-up time. See link from district for more details: https://5il.co/2bvag
